Name in ENG: Potassium Gluconate

This product helps maintain an optimum level of potassium in the body. It is recommended for low-calorie diets, those who exercise vigorously and for seniors.

  • Contains the essential mineral — potassium, responsible for intercellular osmotic pressure in the body;

  • Potassium possesses antisclerotic functions, preventing deposits of sodium on the vessel walls, decreasing myocardial excitability and conduction;

  • Participates in skeletal muscle reduction, protein, and phospholipid synthesis.

Potassium Gluconate Key Benefits

The product regulates intracellular diffusion of fluids in the body as well as cardiovascular and nervous systems functions.

It compensates for deficiency of potassium caused by chronic diseases of the kidneys, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, and by physical and emotional stress.

Potassium Gluconate Ingredients

The balance of potassium in the human body reduces the risk of arrhythmia because this element is directly involved in regulating the cardiovascular system.

Potassium plays an important role in conducting nerve impulses to muscles. It improves oxygen supply to the brain, helps reduce stagnation and swelling, and improves the release of by-products of cellular metabolism.

Potassium gluconate - is a salt of potassium and gluconic acid. Gluconic acid is an organic acid produced by oxidation of glucose and is readily available in nature. One of its properties: it helps improve muscle performance.

Calcium phosphate is an additional source of calcium and phosphorus. Calcium contributes to regulating of nerve conductivity and pH balance of the human body. Phosphorus improves both mental and muscular functions.

Potassium Gluconate Usage

Take one tablet twice daily after meals.

Potassium Gluconate

Potassium Gluconate is essential for maintaining an optimal level of potassium in the body. It regulates the osmotic pressure, the cardiovascular and nervous systems. The product is recommended for people who prefer low calorie diets and regular exercise, or for elderly people.

Potassium is an essential intracellular ion; while the main extracellular ion is sodium. Potassium and sodium are responsible for maintaining the intercellular osmotic pressure in the body; if there is either too much or too little of either of these two elements, you are in danger.

The main function of potassium is maintaining the right concentration and biological functions of magnesium, the main nutrient for the heart. Potassium reduces the excitability and conductivity of the myocardium. When there is not enough potassium in the body it can lead to arrhythmias.

Potassium plays an important role in conducting nerve impulses to the muscle and in the formation of acetylcholine, the main conductor of nerve impulses. It reduces the risk of chronic fatigue and improves oxygen supply to the brain. Potassium helps dehydration and reduces swelling. It also has an anti-sclerosis function in the body as it prevents the accumulation of sodium on blood vessel walls.

When your diet is balanced you get sufficient amounts of both potassium and sodium. For normal metabolism the ratio of potassium to sodium must be 1:2.

If there is not enough potassium, sodium will suck excess fluid into the intercellular space, which can lead to swelling, and reduce the amounts of nutrients getting to the cells. This in turn slows down metabolism. Only sufficient amounts of potassium can neutralize the effects of excess sodium in the body.

Since people tend to use a lot of salt, we need to include more potassium in our diets – either in the form of foods containing potassium or in the form of bioactive supplements.

In addition, potassium metabolism tends to break down chronic conditions affecting the kidneys, the cardiovascular system, the gastrointestinal tract (especially accompanied by nausea and diarrhea), internal secretion glands, and other pathologies. Potassium deficiency may also be a result of emotional or physical stress or the use of potassium purging diuretics.

Potassium deficiency may manifest, first of all, in muscle and nerve disorders as well as problems with the cardiovascular system (weakness, drowsiness, lack of muscle tone, arrhythmia, and slow heart rate).

Potassium Gluconate is needed to prevent:
• Problems with the central nervous system;
• Cardiovascular conditions;
• Chronic kidney disease;
• Consequences of emotional or physical stress.
